The walk from High Street to the Knott is pretty gentle. Downhill to begin with....
This is a great part of the walk and almost feels like a small reward for the earlier effort.
The Knott is the fell top you can see just to the right of the main fell. There is an upward bit!
After going through the hole in the wall another 25 metres sees the climb flatten out and then it's a sharp left to the top of The Knott. The climb after turning left is really short and makes you wonder why it's a Wainwright but then you think of the effort to get this high and you realise why!
